here is another post about The One and Only Ivan.
I think Ivan does remember some of his childhood stories. But he only remembers the sad memories and not many happy memories. He has lots of sad memories because his parents and sister died. I think he is trying not to remember the sad memories because there are no happy memories.
Would you try and forget your sad memories?

here is a would you rather ponder.
I would have a robot that can do what I say and will help me with stuff. But I don’t want the robot to know everything about me. I’ll have a robot that makes me feel safe. Jet packs are cool and would be fun to have one. The problem is I don’t really like heights, I wouldn’t feel safe high in the air. So I’d rather have a robot than a Jet pack.

I think Ivan is helping Ruby because he is sad about Stella being gone and wants to make Ruby happy. I don’t think Ruby wants to live at a zoo I just think she is fascinated about what a zoo is and she wants to see it for herself.
What is your favorite animal?

I don’t think it’s okay to take an animal from its natural habitat to be a pet. Because if you took an animal from the wild how would you feel leaving your family forever?
It’s okay to take an animal from the wild when it’s hurt, needs help and when it’s endangered.
Do you have a pet? How much do you love him/her?

here is another ponder about the one and only Ivan.
A good zoo would have good zookeepers, a good amount of food for the animals and good cage space. I think Stella, Ivan and Ruby can live in a zoo I think it wouldn’t make a difference because they will still get some attention.
If you were an animal would you like to live in a zoo or live in a cage at a mall and in a circus?

here is a would you rather post.
I would rather be fast than strong because you can save people and if you are really fast they won’t even see you. Also that you would never be late when arriving at a place. Being fast will be fun so will being strong it was a hard to pick but being fast will be really cool.
What is another power you liked to have other than fast and strong?

I liked that the Library was so big that it must have all the books in the world but it would be hard to find what book you want. I also liked that there were different rooms and cool stuff and how they made it look cool. My favorite feature was how they made each clue look cool and makes me want to be there.

Kia ora here is another Mr Lemoncello’s Ponder.
I think it means that you see something but you are not focusing on it you are focusing on something else. Here is an example (You are looking at your Chromebook and focusing on it and you see your classmates moving and talking you don’t have your full attention on them.)

I notice that there are people on the train climbing in India I think.
It’s like there is something they want inside the train or that something is chasing them.
I wonder how fast the train will go and if someone will fall off.
If something is chasing you that will kill you would you jump on and climb a train?

My class is getting into an interesting and intense part in Mars Patel.
I would ask Aurora what is happening because she would answer more than one question.
I would choose Pow as my leader name because it’s short for powerful and I kind of like how it sounds.
Why do you think that Aurora choose the name Fang?
